We are a full-service law firm located in downtown Cleveland-we are seeking an experienced Estate and Tax Planning Attorney to join our highly regarded Trusts & Estates and Tax practice groups. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to become part of a collaborative and client-focused team at one of Northeast Ohio's leading law firms.
Responsibilities:
-Advise clients on all aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, charitable planning, and wealth transfer strategies.
-Provide counsel on federal and state tax issues, including estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
-Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including complex trusts and business succession plans.
-Represent fiduciaries and beneficiaries in probate and trust administration matters.
-Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver integrated and strategic estate and tax planning solutions.
Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
-Active member in good standing with the Ohio Bar (or ability to waive in).
-3+ years of relevant estate planning and tax experience preferred.
-Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
-LL.M. in Taxation or CPA designation is a plus.
