Position Overview
The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex tax engagements, and mentoring junior staff. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement in a firm that values professionalism, collaboration, and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws
Analyze and interpret tax laws, providing recommendations for tax planning and savings
Manage tax audits and communicate with tax authorities
Oversee and develop tax strategies for clients
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Train and mentor junior tax staff

Qualifications

Active CPA license required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting within public accounting
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing tax engagements and supervising staff
